Ratlam, In Ratlam on Tuesday evening, a car crushed more than a dozen laborers in a horrific road accident. In this serious road accident, 4 people have died, while more than 8 are seriously injured. The injured had to be brought to the district hospital with the help of a loading vehicle.
The accident happened when these laborers were working on installing railing on the four lane side near village Jamunia on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, a black speeding car coming from Indore to Ratlam crushed them. The speed was so fast that one by one the car climbed on 12-13 workers. There was an outcry and 2-3 laborers who survived getting injured on the spot informed the contractor and then the police. The ambulance of the contractor and the toll company also reached the spot and immediately left with the 2 injured. Two injured were also evacuated from other vehicles. During this, more ambulances were awaited, but when no ambulance arrived even for a long time, 9 injured were sent to the district hospital together by putting them in a loading vehicle. The condition of 8 of these patients is very critical. All the injured laborers are residents of Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh and had come to Ratlam to work for Fourlane Company. Even at the time of the accident, all the laborers were working on the four lane near village Jamuniya. Meanwhile, a car coming from Satrunda to Ratlam crushed them.

There was a board on the road, but the car came at speed

The accident happened at around 6 pm to the other laborers present there. All those laborers were working on the side of the forelane near Jamunia Phante. A board was also put on the road 100 meters away so that the vehicles could be informed about not coming on this strip and keeping the speed slow. Despite this, its black colored car came at a high speed and crushed everyone one by one. The front part of the car was also damaged in the accident, so the car also stopped after going some distance from the spot. The family members present in the car got down there, while the driver also got hurt.


Chaos as always

If the ambulance was not available on time to bring the injured to the hospital, then the patients had to be brought by putting them in the loading vehicle. This added to the suffering of the wounded in the wretched condition of their injuries and pain. In the hospital, he was made to lie on a stretcher by policemen and media persons and taken inside. Only 2 ward byes were present on the spot. Doctors came and saw the injured after preliminary dressing etc. but their X-ray or other tests could not be done in the night. The injured kept crying for a long time due to pain, but due to not being family or familiar with them, no one was found to console them.
