Katni, Administrative activity was seen at an Arms and Ammunition Shop located in Bhatta Mohalla area of ​​Katni city. A joint team of police and district administration reached the shop of arms dealer Nazim Khan, where a thorough investigation of guns and cartridges is being done. It is being told that this shop was closed for the last several months due to non-renewal of Nazim Khan's arms license on time.

Dealer Nazim Khan had submitted an application to the District Collector on 25 September 2024 for physical verification of arms, after which this action is being taken. A heavy police force including SDM, CSP was deployed on the spot. Tight security arrangements were made during the investigation. Katni SDM Pradeep Mishra said that several guns and bullets kept in the shop are being examined and the police administration team is counting the bullets of the fired gun. The process of matching all types of guns kept in the shop with the records is going on. During this, the shop's dealer Nazim Khan was also present. Discussions have intensified in the area regarding this action being taken by the administrative team.
