Shajapur, not following the court's order and taking arbitrary action has become a habit of the officials of Shajapur. This is the reason that despite the stay order given by the court, the administrative officials arbitrarily ran a bulldozer on the shops of Gopal Gaushala, on which the officials had to face opposition and had to stop the action. Actually, the administration had considered 16 shops of Gopal Gaushala located on the new road as dilapidated and had given a notice to vacate them within 24 hours, on which a stay order was brought by the shopkeepers from the Shajapur court, but despite this, on Wednesday, SDM Manisha Vaskale, Municipal Officer Madhu Saxena reached the spot with police force and started demolishing two shops by running a bulldozer. After turning two shops into a pile of mud, other shopkeepers were also asked to immediately remove their goods from the shops and action was taken. On getting information about the action being taken despite the court's stay order, advocate Narendra Tiwari reached the spot and protested against the administration's action, calling it wrong. There was a debate between the SDM and the advocate on this and finally the SDM ordered to take the advocate to the police station. However, the police took the advocate with them and later released him. Advocate Tiwari said that the District Court has given a stay order on the demolition of shops, but the officials took action arbitrarily and violated the court's order, for which a case will now be filed in the court.
Officials were seen avoiding speaking on the action
Saying that the shops of Gopal Gaushala were dilapidated, the administration issued a notice to the shopkeepers and gave them an ultimatum to vacate the shops within 24 hours. The shopkeepers sought a stay order from the court on this order of the administration. The court gave a stay order saying that the status of the disputed shops should be kept as it is, but despite this SDM Manisha Vaskale and Municipal Officer Madhu Nayak started the action with a bulldozer. When the action was opposed, the officers disappeared from the spot and were seen avoiding saying anything. The advocates reprimanded the officers fiercely.
