Barwani, Anjad Nagar Panchayat Parishad did not pay the salaries to the employees for the months of December and January even till 13th February. On Tuesday afternoon, the employees gathered and submitted a memorandum to the Chief Municipality Officer Rakesh Chauhan and Municipal President Mangilal Mukati demanding that the outstanding salaries be paid soon. While making the respondents aware of their problems, they have warned of going on strike from February 16 if payment is not made soon. Regarding the same matter, Anjad Municipal Council CMO Rakesh Chauhan said that this situation has arisen due to the government not receiving the octroi compensation amount, whereas at present one month's salary will be given to the employees in a day or two.
