Merta Road, Rajasthan Assembly The workers who were busy in giving a grand welcome to Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on his arrival at Merta Road were disappointed. It so happened that the Assembly Speaker was on a tour of Nagaur district. During this, his tour was to attend a condolence meeting in Jaisas village of Merta City subdivision of Nagaur district and a program organized at Gotan's largest plant JK. During this, his route was fixed via Merta Road. On hearing the news of which, BJP workers appeared at the BJP office located on Nagaur Road in the town and there they made full preparations to welcome the Assembly Speaker. But the Assembly Speaker neither got off the car nor set foot on the land of Merta Road. The limit was crossed when he did not even talk to the BJP workers of Merta Road properly, then the BJP workers of Merta Road were greatly disappointed. The Assembly Speaker not stopping at Merta Road has become a topic of discussion in the town. Some people say that the speaker of the assembly ignoring the BJP workers is dishonesty with the BJP workers. Even more disappointment for the BJP workers came when the speaker was presented a memento by the BJP workers, but that too had to be handed over from above by opening the car gate. Not only this, the BJP workers also made Vasudev Devnani wear a turban in the moving car and had to put a garland on Vasudev Devnani's moving car.
