Lalbarra, on Tuesday, Balaghat-Seoni MP Smt. Bharti Pardhi, who was on a short visit to Lalbarra in connection with BJP's membership campaign, was met by a delegation of students here and they mentioned the difficulties faced by students in their studies. On behalf of the students, Chief Whip Damendra Dhaneshwar informed MP Smt. Pardhi that a large number of children from Balaghat go to Bhopal-Indore to receive higher level education and the only direct means of their travel is bus, but due to the dominance of only two-three travel agencies on this route, the bus owners have increased the fare of Bhopal-Indore exorbitantly. There are many categories of ticket prices in a single bus, as soon as the seats of a bus get filled online, the rate of the next empty seats automatically increases. Bus owners are not at all concerned about the interests of students, whereas so many buses are running on this route only because of students. During the festival season, the bus fares skyrocket due to which students are not able to return home despite having the desire and are left disappointed. Therefore, along with putting a stop on exorbitant bus fares, it is also necessary to run an evening train from Balaghat to Bhopal-Indore. After listening to the demands of the students carefully, MP Mrs. Bharti Pardhi said that she has discussed the increased bus fares with the Chief Minister and hopes that he will soon take appropriate steps to curb it. As far as starting a train from Balaghat to Bhopal is concerned, after becoming an MP, my first priority is to increase the movement of trains in the Balaghat region. The initial effort is to double the single railway track in Balaghat, after this, operation of many types of trains having connectivity with Balaghat will be possible. MP Pardhi assured the students that even if she has to stage a dharna for the development of trains, she will not back down from it.
A library will definitely be built in Lalbarra
The students also informed MP Mrs. Pardhi that a large number of children prepare for competitive examinations in Lalbarra, so it is essential to have a centralized library with a capacity of about 300 students for their smooth study. On this Mrs. Pardhi said that she will definitely contribute fully for the establishment of the library but first the selection of the place is necessary. If the library is established in the local college, it may not be possible for the children from outside to study there, so it is better to start the library at some other place in Lalbarra outside the college premises. Giving responsibility to the local educator Damendra Dhaneshwar, she said that you meet the SDM and Tehsildar etc. and select the place and leave the further action to me. Development of education at the local level is my second most important agenda.
