Saharanpur, Voting is to be held for eight seats in western Uttar Pradesh in the first phase of the 18th Lok Sabha on April 19. Whose promotion will stop on 17th April on the day of Ram Navami. In this way, only 12 days are left for the election campaign. Bharatiya Janata Party is maintaining a one-sided lead over its opposition parties in the election campaign. On behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party, its top campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to hold three major election rallies in western Uttar Pradesh. Which has already been launched from Meerut on 31st March. On 6 April, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting at Radha Swami Center on Delhi Road in Saharanpur. SPG has camped in Saharanpur. DM-SSP has inspected the meeting place. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will also be present on the stage along with the Prime Minister. Separate helipads have also been prepared for these three Chief Ministers. Keep in mind that Saharanpur Lok Sabha constituency touches the borders of both the states of Uttarakhand and Haryana. There is a significant number of Saini community and Uttarakhandis in Saharanpur district. Prime Minister's next election meeting is proposed in Moradabad division. On behalf of BJP, Home Minister Amit Shah had held meetings in Muzaffarnagar and Moradabad a day earlier. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has addressed the conference of intelligentsia in the constituencies to be held in the first and second phases. Both the Deputy Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Brijesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya have also visited the constituencies of the West. Irrigation Minister Swatantra Dev Singh is camping in Saharanpur. State BJP President Bhupendra Chaudhary has also churned the elections in all the districts of the West.
In this way BJP has heated up the electoral atmosphere in its favour. Worked to motivate workers and voters to vote as much as possible. While Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, BSP chief Mayawati have not been able to campaign anywhere yet. On April 17, the election campaign for the first phase in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur and Pilibhit will stop at 5 pm. According to the information, SP, BSP and Congress leaders have not jumped into the election campaign due to the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims. After Eid on 11th or 12th April, opposition leaders will jump into the election campaign. He will have barely five days left to campaign in the first phase. By then BJP would have completed its campaign. RLD has an alliance with BJP in this election. RLD candidates may be contesting only on two seats, Bijnor and Baghpat, but Jayant Choudhary is going to campaign on all the seats under his influence. While he shared the stage with the Prime Minister in Meerut, he was present with Home Minister Amit Shah in Budhana on April 3. Jayant Chaudhary's presence seems to have increased BJP's support among Jats. In his addresses, Amit Shah is mentioning the removal of Article 370 from Ram Mandir, Jammu and Kashmir, while Jayant Chaudhary is assuring the farmers and laborers to get their rights. Jayant Chaudhary is expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving Bharat Ratna to Chaudhary Charan Singh in election meetings. Jayant Chaudhary has also toughened his stance against Akhilesh Yadav. He said that he has not turned back but has done the work of giving political defeat to Akhilesh Yadav.
In western Uttar Pradesh, BJP leaders are enthusiastically engaged in creating and intensifying the saffron wave, while the opposition leaders are wasting their energy in changing their candidates. It is seen that Congress candidate Imran Masood in Saharanpur, SP candidate Iqra Hasan in Kairana and SP candidate Harendra Malik in Muzaffarnagar are running election campaigns in collaboration with local leaders. His main focus is on organizing and activating his workers and doing door-to-door public relations with the voters. In this way, it now remains to be seen how the opposition parties are able to strengthen the position of their candidates in a short time despite lagging behind the BJP in the election campaign.
