The Chief Secretary of Bihar has again written a letter to the Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation yesterday and has given this information and has requested to expedite the process of upgrading Darbhanga Airport as an international airport.

It has been clarified in the letter that the Bihar government is committed to every necessary cooperation in this process. Earlier in September 2024, a letter was written to the Center to make Darbhanga Airport an international airport. We are confident that after Darbhanga Airport becomes an international airport, trade and tourism will increase in North Bihar, new employment opportunities will be created on a large scale and development will get a new impetus.
