Meanwhile, Congress leader Rajukhedi apprised the villagers about the drinking water problem being faced by the villagers in Bangred, Kachal and Amkho of Nalchha block and demanded its solution. During this, he also submitted a memorandum.
Given this memorandum: It was told in the memorandum that the work of tap-water schemes has been done by the Public Health Engineering Department Dhar under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the villages of Block Nalchha of Dharampuri Vidhansabha of the district. The schemes have been completed, but people on the ground are dependent on water. Tanks and pipelines have been laid under the scheme. But the source of water itself is not available in the village to make water available to the villagers through the scheme. Crores of rupees were spent on construction only in the name of the scheme. But the tanks were made without looking at the source of water. Due to which the dream of providing water to the villagers has not come true since the completion of the scheme.
In Gram Panchayat Bangred, Kachal, Amkho and other villages of Nalchha block, a tank was constructed under the scheme and a pipeline was laid in the entire village. Crores of rupees were spent on this by the Public Health Engineering Department. But there is no drinking water source available in the village to fill the tank. This was not taken care of before the implementation of the scheme. For this reason, the villagers are wandering for water even after the completion of the scheme. Tanks have been made in Gram Panchayat Bangred and Kachal, due to which there was a plan to provide water to the nearby villages, but the plan failed completely.
