Saharanpur | Deoband, Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan organized a grand event of five-day Shri Shiv Katha in Teachers Colony Shiv Park Deoband. On the first day of the Katha, Sadhvi Ms. Brahma Nishtha Bharti, the great disciple of the institute's founder and director, the most revered Gurudev Ashutosh Maharaj, recited the Katha and presented the glory of Lord Shiva to the devotees. The Katha was started with the praise of the auspicious Lord Shri Ganpati Maharaj Ji. While reciting the Katha, Sadhvi Ms. Brahma Nishtha Bharti, the disciple of the most revered Gurudev Ashutosh Ji Maharaj, said that Lord Shiva is the resting place of all beings. Distressed by the heat of infinite sins, beings come to the shelter of Lord Shiva for rest and experience relaxation. The mind experiences cool bliss only by taking a dip in the stream of Shiv Katha. The effect of the Katha is such that the filth of vices is removed from the mind by merely listening to it. Divine light appears in the human mind. Katha acts as a bridge for the soul to meet the Lord. It is only by walking on this bridge that devotees have been able to get the privilege of seeing the Lord. Sadhvi Ji told that today human society wandering in the darkness of ignorance is in dire need of spiritual knowledge. Only then will humans be able to come out of the trenches of demonism and touch the ultimate heights of divinity. During the Katha, Sadhvi Satindra Bharti and Sadhvi Sadya Bharti mesmerized all the devotees present in the Katha pandal by singing melodious bhajans in praise of the Lord.
