Today in Vastu Shastra we will talk about the timing of sweeping. Although it is good to clean, there is some time already fixed for it in Vastu Shastra. Just as there is a proper time for cleaning, in the same way there is a time for not cleaning, i.e. not sweeping. In Vastu Shastra, the first four hours of the day is considered the appropriate time for sweeping the house, while the four hours of the night are considered inappropriate for this work. Sweeping during the four hours of the night leads to poverty in the house and the goddess of wealth Lakshmi gets angry. Due to which the inflow of money into the house is affected.

What to do if you have to sweep after sunset?

Suppose if you are coming home in the evening after a long day and the house was closed behind you. Due to which the whole house is covered with dust or there was some program in your house, due to which it has become necessary for you to sweep the house. According to Vastu Shastra, keep one thing in mind. Whenever you sweep after sunset, do not throw that garbage or soil outside the house, keep it in a dustbin somewhere and throw it outside in the morning. It is believed that by throwing mud outside the house in the evening, Goddess Lakshmi goes out of the house and Alakshmi enters the house.

When should the broom be changed?

According to Vastu Shastra, Saturday should be chosen to replace the old broom with a new one in the house. Using a new broom on Saturday is considered very auspicious. Apart from this, it is always advisable to buy a broom in Krishna Paksha, whereas a broom bought in Shukla Paksha is an indicator of bad luck. Therefore one should never buy a broom during this time.
