Jehanabad, Bihar: The uproar over the controversial statement made by Bihar government minister Ashok Chaudhary on Bhumihars in Jehanabad is not taking the name of stopping. The protest started from within the Janata Dal United party and passing through the opposition camp, this protest has now reached the streets. People are trolling Ashok Chaudhary a lot on social media as well. People have come out on the streets in different districts. People of Bhumihar Brahmin Social Front are protesting and demanding action against Minister Ashok Chaudhary from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Hundreds of Bhumihar Brahmin Social Front workers gathered at Bhagwanpur Chowk in Muzaffarpur and not only raised slogans against Minister Ashok Chaudhary, but also warned the Bihar government that if Chief Minister Nitish Kumar does not take action against Ashok Chaudhary for the indecent remarks made on Bhumihars and Ashok Chaudhary does not apologize for his statement, then Bhumihar Brahmins will take to the streets across Bihar and protest against the government. He warned that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will have to bear the brunt of this in the upcoming 2025 assembly elections as well.
Bhumihar Brahmin Social Front warns the government
Bhumihar Brahmin Social Front's Muzaffarpur and state general secretary Dharamveer Shukla said that the way Ashok Chaudhary has given a statement, the Bhumihar society will never tolerate it. He said that if Ashok Chaudhary does not apologize, then Bhumihar Brahmin Social Front is free to decide the future strategy and the current government and the central government will have to bear the brunt of it. When Bhumihars get into their own mood, they change the government. Similar protests were seen in Jehanabad as well, where Rashtriya Bhumihar Seva Abhiyan burnt the effigy of Minister Ashok Chaudhary. The people of Rashtriya Bhumihar Seva Abhiyan openly warned that Ashok Chaudhary should apologize publicly or else he will not be allowed to enter Jehanabad in the coming days. Minister Ashok Chaudhary on one hand gives away his daughter to the Bhumihar community and on the other hand abuses them. In such a situation, the Bhumihar community will not tolerate the comments made by him. A large number of people from Bhumihar community participated in the effigy burning program under the banner of Rashtriya Bhumihar Seva Abhiyan. On this occasion, the people of Bhumihar community clearly said that the kind of statement given by Janata Dal United minister Ashok Chaudhary on the Bhumihar community has also defamed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. In such a situation, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should take this matter seriously and immediately dismiss Ashok Chaudhary from the cabinet.
