Merta Road, Public hearing was conducted by District Collector Arun Kumar Purohit at Atal Seva Kendra located in Baipura of Merta Road. In which issues of water and drainage-road construction dominated. Demand was made to build CHC building and declare it a municipality.

In the public hearing program on Friday evening at around six o'clock, villagers gave signed memorandums regarding the drinking water crisis in Sadar Bazar, Kumharon Ka Mohalla, Shivrampura, Baipura etc. areas of Merta Road. Similarly, the villagers told the District Collector that last year the Primary Health Center was upgraded to Community Health Center, but till date neither the process of building construction has started nor the tender has been done after giving the budget. The Community Health Center is being operated in the old building by changing the name only. Due to this, there is a lot of anger among the villagers. There was also a demand to construct a drain near the newly constructed road in the town.

BJP leader Kailash Latiyal, Deputy Sarpanch Manish Sharma etc. demanded the formation of a municipality and the construction of a CSC building soon. Subdivision officer Poonam Chaudhary, Discom's XEN Ramjivan Jakhar, AEN Manoj Bansal, JEN Dilip Fardaud, Revenue Inspector Yashwantraj Upadhyay, Patwari Patram Vishnoi, Deputy Sarpanch Manish Sharma, BJP leader Kailash Latiyal etc. were present in the public hearing.
