America's wishes on his birthday

America has also wished Dalai Lama on his birthday. In a press release issued by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Dalai Lama has been described as someone who inspires people by giving the message of unity, peace and compassion.

America has reiterated that it supports the human rights and fundamental freedoms of the people of Tibet. America also said that the people of Tibet have complete freedom to choose their religious leaders. Along with this, it said that the people there have the right to choose whom to worship. There should not be any kind of interference in this matter.

Let us tell you that these days a war of words is going on between China and the exiled government of Tibet regarding the successor of Dalai Lama. However, Dalai Lama has also made it clear that his successor will be declared after his death.

Union ministers Kiren Rijiju, Lallan Singh and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended a long life prayer ceremony organised for the Dalai Lama on the eve of his 90th birth anniversary at McLeodganj in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.

During the ceremony, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju reiterated his government's stand on religious freedom. He said, 'The Government of India believes that the Dalai Lama institution is a completely religious institution. In such a situation, there should be no interference from anyone in religious matters'.

He wished the Dalai Lama a long life and said that the global community benefits from his views. However, refusing to comment on Chinese objections, he said that we leave everything to His Holiness.

Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu has also given a statement like Kiren Rijiju. Chief Minister Khandu said that he has come here to represent the people of Arunachal Pradesh, which he described as a historic moment. He said that China has no right to interfere in matters related to the Dalai Lama.

Chief Minister Khandu said - Even though Buddhism is also in China, its real tradition is of the people of Tibet and the Himalayan region, who believe and follow it.

Reacting to India-China relations, he said that both the countries are big economic powers. In such a situation, any matter should be resolved by both the countries peacefully. War is not the solution to any problem.

Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh) praised the Dalai Lama's dedication to non-violence. He said that we have come here to express respect for the Dalai Lama's message of peace and lifelong struggle. The government does not interfere in religion and faith.

Setback to China on successor

The Dalai Lama has clarified that the entire process and institution of the Dalai Lama will continue. Earlier, questions were being raised whether there would be a successor after his death or not. Through a video message, the Dalai Lama made it clear that the Garden Podran Trust will have full authority to identify the future Dalai Lama. He also said that no one else will have any authority in the selection of the new Dalai Lama. This time the Dalai Lama will be selected from a democratic and free country.

This message of the Dalai Lama is a shock to China. Because China is constantly saying that the next Dalai Lama will be from China.
