Nicholas Pooran maintained his excellent rhythm for Lucknow even today. He scored 44 runs in his 30-ball innings with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. But Yuzvendra Chahal trapped him in his spin and got the team caught out by Glenn Maxwell, giving a big success to the team.

Before Pooran, Lucknow captain Rishabh Pant (2) flopped once again. He scored just 2 runs in his 5-ball innings and got caught by Yuzvendra Chahal at short fine leg on a simple ball from Glenn Maxwell. Ayush Badoni tried to give depth to Lucknow's innings and he stayed at one end, but the pressure to score runs quickly was constantly building at the front end.

Badoni first got Puran out and then David Warner (19) got out. Badoni also showed some quick hands but he fell prey to Arshdeep in the last over. Meanwhile, Abdul Samad, who played the role of match finisher, made a useful contribution of 27 runs in 12 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes.
