Saharanpur, District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra reached Central Warehouse located on Janta Road and checked the security arrangements of EVMs kept there. DM is very sensitive about the security of EVMs. Dr. Dinesh Chandra reached Central Warehouse and investigated for a long time. He got all the CCTV footage of the past days out and checked it. He instructed the paramilitary force personnel and policemen deployed there not to let any vehicle go inside. If any officer is coming for inspection, then check his car and let him go inside only after complete identification.

Elections were held on 19 April on Saharanpur and Kairana Lok Sabha seats. After the voting, EVMs have been kept under tight security in the Central Warehouse. Paramilitary forces and policemen have been deployed here. CCTV cameras have been installed in the entire Central Warehouse. A control room has been built, where LED has been installed. DM reached Central Warehouse and checked the security of EVMs along with cameras. On this occasion, City Magistrate Gajendra Kumar, Sub District Magistrate Sadar Yuvraj Singh, District Supply Officer Manish Kumar were present with him.
