Shajapur, Today will be the main day of the Shiv Vivah event which has been going on for the last five days when Mahadev and Mata Shakti will get married. The entire city will witness the union of Shiva and Shakti and this event will be held at Omkareshwar Mahadev Temple located in Dhanmondi.
For the last several days, preparations have been going on for the event in the temple and preparations for the wedding are being made. As part of the event, Mehndi, Haldi and women's sangeet were organized in the temple. So Shiva's marriage will take place today on Friday. On this day, a procession of Mahadev will also be taken out and Mahadev and Mata Pavarti will get married. There will be an influx of visitors to the temples from early morning.

Mahadev's procession took place, devotees danced on the streets

A day before Shivratri, a Shiv procession took place from Shri Omkareshwar Mahadev Temple located in Dhanmondi. In which Mahadev was riding in the palanquin and the devotees were moving in the procession while dancing and singing. The procession, which started from Omkareshwar Mahadev Temple, passed through Wazirpura, Somwariya, Chowk Bazaar and concluded by reaching the temple again, where the devotees again started preparing for the Shiva marriage. Where various events will be held today. Before this, in the Shiva procession, Mahadev was attracting everyone by dressing up attractively as the groom. So the devotees were also dancing in various masquerades and dancing with enthusiasm in the devotion of their innocent person.

Apart from the city's Omkareshwar temple, special celebrations are held at Mahadev Ghat, Girasia Ghat, Sunera, Mankamaneshwar Mahadev Temple, Neelkantheshwar Mahadev Temple, Mangalnath Mahadev Temple, Pashupatinath Mahadev Temple, Mahakal Temple at Nainavad and Mahadev Temple at Pandukhora in Lal Ghati regarding Shivratri festival. Events will be organized where there will be a rush of devotees throughout the day. Apart from this, devotees of Shiva will offer devotional offerings to Mahadev here till late night and there will also be bhajans and kirtans.

Sarvartha Siddhi and Shiva Yoga being made on Mahashivratri

This time Shivratri is coming in a special coincidence and fruitful yoga, in which the wishes of the devotees will be fulfilled just by the darshan of Mahadev. In which Shiva devotees are getting a special opportunity to celebrate Shivratri in Shiva Yoga with Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga which will be especially fruitful for the devotees. Pandit Rajendraprakash Vyas of Shajapur told that this time Mahashivratri is coming on Friday, March 8. On this great festival, along with yoga and financial gain, the works of Shiva devotees will also be accomplished and such a coincidence happening on Mahashivratri is considered a rare coincidence. Pandit Vyas told that there will be Sarvartha Siddha Yoga from 4.46 am on March 8 to 12.46 pm on March 9. When such Nakshatra Yoga and the position of the planet comes in the center, it is related to the triangle and worshiping in this Nakshatra definitely results in accomplishment of work and financial gain. Besides, starting any new work is also particularly fruitful.
