The injured artist has been identified as 18-year-old Gaurav Kumar Sharma, a resident of Chikni Khad under Gamharia police station of Madhepura district. He was dancing on the night of Saturday, November 9, during the conclusion of Chhath Puja in Rakia Bijalpur Ward 06 of Saharsa. During this time, he started dancing with the snakes brought by the snake charmer, after which the cobra snake bit his left hand.
The artist Gaurav Kumar, who became the victim of the accident, said that he has been doing such programs for many years, he goes to different districts and plays with snakes and entertains people, this is the first time such an incident has happened. Gaurav said, we were all dancing to the tune of Nagina dance and the cobra snake was kept in front. Meanwhile, a cobra snake bit him on his hand but he did not know anything at that time. After a while, he started feeling dizzy and suddenly fainted on the stage. After this, his friends took him to a Tantrik but the snake venom could not be removed there and then he was admitted to the hospital.
