Saharanpur | Deoband, The fire set by the contractor for cleaning the pond in Ghalauli village of Deoband Kotwali area reached the area of a person living in the neighborhood. Due to which he has suffered a lot of financial loss. After the information, firemen reached the spot and brought the fire under control. According to the information received, Sunil Kumar Tyagi, resident of Ghalauli village of Deoband Kotwali area, told that there is a pond allotted near his house. To clean the pond, the contractor set fire to the garbage lying in it. Due to strong wind the fire reached their surroundings. Due to which, two jamun trees, two mango trees and three lemon trees standing in the circle were badly burnt. Not only this, the roof of the wooden room and the cakes kept there were also burnt by the flames. Many cattle were saved with great difficulty. According to Sunil Kumar, the contractor was forbidden from lighting the fire several times. But he did not agree. They have suffered a lot of financial loss due to this. Later, firefighters arrived on information and brought the fire under control. The victim has filed a complaint against the contractor to the police.
