Uddhav Thackeray made a big demand
Said- Election Commissioner should be elected
During the winter session of Parliament, the bill related to 'One Nation One Election' has been introduced in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has introduced this bill. The Modi government has said that this bill will be sent to the Joint Parliamentary Committee i.e. JPC for extensive discussion. Opposition parties have strongly opposed the amendment bill related to One Nation One Election. At the same time, now Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has also given his opinion on this issue. Uddhav Thackeray has said that first the election of the Election Commissioner should be held in the country.
What did Uddhav Thackeray say?
Shiv Sena (UTB) chief and former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, who arrived in Nagpur to attend the winter session, said, "One Nation, One Election' should be talked about later, first the Election Commissioner should be elected. If the President can be elected, then why not the Election Commissioner? If people have doubts about EVMs, then they should be removed. Elections should be held on ballot paper once. If they get that much majority, then no one will ask any questions after this."
