Work being done without safety equipment
Whether the contract is government or private, the safety of workers is not taken care of. Workers are simply hired for their wages and no one takes responsibility for accidents that happen to them during work. Those responsible are not taking lessons from the recent accidents. Even on Thursday, the two people who were sent for work did not have any safety equipment. Even after the recent accident in Uttarakhand, those responsible are not desisting from playing with the lives of workers. It is fortunate that the accident that happened on Thursday was not very serious. Because these people were also not given any safety equipment before working. If something were to happen to them in an accident then who would take responsibility?
They say...
The work was being done by the contractor. Suddenly the wall collapsed injuring two people. These people have been treated by the contractor.
